Lock Device
Locking a device suspends call functionality and places the device in maintenance state, for
troubleshooting, for example. Unlock returns it to service.

From the Actions drop-down list, choose Maintenance > Lock Device. |
Choose one of the following actions:

Immediate Lock: The device is locked regardless of traffic. Any existing traffic is terminated immediately. The lock process begins immediately and the device does not process any calls. |

Graceful Lock: Existing calls first complete and only then is the device locked. No new traffic is accepted. A lock icon is displayed and a window appears displaying the
number of remaining (unfinished) calls and time. |

|
Graceful Lock: (time in seconds). The device is locked only after the time configured in the adjacent field. During this time, no new traffic is accepted. If no traffic exists and the time has not yet expired, the device locks immediately. |
